Little moments

The past few days have been so humbling and have given us many reasons to pause, reflect, mourn, and also be grateful for what we have.  This picture shows what used to be the home of our friends.  It has been a stark and vivid reminder of what truly matters.

It has made little moments like this one so much more meaningful.

What are you rushing to accomplish today?  What are you stressed about?  What are you spending your time on?

Does it really matter?

Hug your wee ones today.  Call an old friend.  Forgive.  Love something, someone, today.  That's what matters.

You are so right. It is so easy to get wrapped up in all things not important, and stress, how do I stay in the moment forever? Not to have my present sidetracked by being late for t-ball, getting a run organized, laundry, dishes, etc. etc.

Ann,

You always know how to say things that I need to hear. Things that our minds get wrapped around and worried and stressed about don't matter that much. They are but a moment in time, which is so tiny when compared to our Heavenly Father's time. These things are just earthly stresses. What we need to concentrate on is our families and making sure that they know how much we love and cherish them. Thanks you!! We love and miss you!
